Description

We built our original Mountain Jacket for one reason—protection in the extremes. Born on Himalayan giants, it’s engineered to act as the final barrier between you and the elements. Since 1985, this jacket has transformed and transcended mountaineering, securing legendary status on the world’s streets. As a testament to its hardcore heritage, it continues to blend waterproof durability with updated alpine-style details. This is a layer for visionaries. This is an icon.   • Durably waterproof GORE-TEX 2L fabric

  • Fully seam sealed
  • Attached, lay-flat, adjustable, two-piece hood with a cinch-cord with cord locks in front and back
  • Two-way center front zip has a snap-closure stormflap
  • Pit-zip venting
  • Secure-zip alpine hand pockets
  • Two internal drop-in pockets
  • Adjustable hook-and-loop cuff tabs
  • Internal drawcord with cord locks at hem for adjustability
  • Zip-in-compatible integration with the 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket and Denali Jacket
  • Embroidered logo on left chest and back-right shoulder
  • Breathable: Material allows air or moisture vapor to pass through, helping to regulate body temperature.
  • Wind: This fabric blocks wind from penetrating the garment, greatly reducing the effects of wind chill.
  • DWR - Water repellent: A durable finish to allow for water beads on the surface of water repellent materials, preventing the fabric from saturating
  • Waterproof: This fabric provides a barrier to rain and snow for dryness.
  • Recycled material: Recycled content – Helps reduce landfill waste and the use of virgin materials.
  • Compatible with other garments: This product can be teamed with complementary products for complete weather protection
