Description

With GORE-TEX® waterproof protection, a midfoot stability shank and our SKYCORE rock guard, the new Men’s Verto Alpine Mid GORE-TEX® Boots are perfect for rugged adventures and alpine trekking. Our waterproof footwear incorporates a variety of advanced waterproofing materials, treatments, and processes. To help keep feet dry, we use internal waterproof membranes and/or adhesive and seam-seal constructions.

  • Upper: Majority-leather upper
  • At The North Face®, we purchase 100% of our leather from Leather Working Group–certified tanneries
  • Durably waterproof GORE-TEX 3L bootie has a liner made with 100% recycled material
  • Molded ankle support for increased performance and comfort
  • Protective molded-rubber toe cap and scratch-rubber heel
  • Durable synthetic mudguards
  • Has a combination of metal and ghillie-lace eyelets plus a lace-lock eyelet for customizable support
  • Sole Unit: Rigid stability shank for midfoot support
  • Lightweight SKYCORE rock guard for added protection below the forefoot
  • High-traction Vibram® XS Trek outsole with 5 mm lugs, a climbing zone at the toe and a braking zone at the heel
  • Waterproof: This fabric provides a barrier to rain and snow for dryness.
  • Wind: This fabric blocks wind from penetrating the garment, greatly reducing the effects of wind chill.
  • Breathable: Material allows air or moisture vapor to pass through, helping to regulate body temperature.
  • Grip sole: Rubber compounds deliver grip, traction and durability on both wet and dry surfaces.
